David Vernon Houston (David, not Dave, please) is a bit of an odd duck.

One of St. Alban's ex-pats, he was born and raised in Saskatchewan, and to this day retains his Canadian citizenship.

He moved to the States to marry Kate Bell (q.v.) and they have two children, Meg (Margaret Avril Bell Houston) and Stuart (Stuart Fraser Bell Houston)..  Meg is currently in college in Iowa (the ORIGINAL Cornell  :) ), and Stuart is taking classes at OCC when his health allows.

David is currently on Vestry, is a Lay Eucharistic Minister, a reader, counts money after services, and is chair of the Communications Committee.  As part of the latter, he runs the parish's FaceBook page, and helps with the East Side Episcoplians page[ helps out with this website; and sends email blasts out the parish when required.

David's background is Math and Physics, and he worked for his independent life as a computer programmer and then web administrator.  Currently he is disabled/house-husband/retired (take your pick).
